Jason Cain here! I’ve always had a fire-eater’s soul. As a kid, I was the first one to step up when a dare involved hot peppers, or when someone cracked open a bottle of mysterious, fiery sauce. Heat wasn’t just a thrill — it was a calling.
In 2023, that spark turned into a craft. Freshly settled into our new Austin home, I planted scorpion and habanero peppers in the yard. The harvest? Six humble bottles of homemade hot sauce — the kind of small-batch fire that lights up both your tongue and your imagination.
Fast-forward a couple years and after looping in Sarah, my partner in crime (in life and hot sauce)... those six bottles grew into Cain’s Hot Sauce — a brand you’ll now find in the hands of local businesses, across Austin farmers markets, and on dining tables in every neck of the woods. And today, no matter where you are in the USA, you can finally get your hands on the good stuff.
