I’ve always had a fire-eater’s soul. As a kid, I was the first one to step up when a dare involved hot peppers, or when someone cracked open a bottle of mysterious, fiery sauce. Heat wasn’t just a thrill — it was a calling.
In 2023, that spark turned into a craft. Freshly settled into our new Austin home, I planted scorpion and habanero peppers in the yard. The harvest? Six humble bottles of homemade hot sauce — the kind of small-batch fire that lights up both your tongue and your imagination.
Fast-forward a couple years, and those six bottles grew into Cain’s Hot Sauce — a brand you’ll now find in the hands of local businesses, across farmers markets, and on tables around town. And today, no matter where you are in the USA, you can finally get your hands on the good stuff.
